Different programs for permanent residency after completion of their studies:

Canadian Experience Class
International students who studied on a publicly funded school are entitled for post secondary work permit after their program. Read more about where’s the gold. During that time the international student can actively gain a valuable skilled work experience that can be used with the permanent resident application. The work experience must have been obtained after graduation form the program of study. Unpaid internship or co-op placements cannot count towards the work experience.
Provincial Nominee Program

Provinces such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Atlantic Provinces have programs for foreign students who have graduated from a Canadian post secondary program.

Some of the program will have direct pathway to permanent resident while others will require a job offer or work experience.
